Trey Hoebee’s Diary’s

By: Jeff Meadows

This is the first part in a series of post that are written by Trey Hoebee about his life, recruitment and his pursuit of being a top regional/national prospect in the class of 2015.

In this edition Trey introduces himself to all Hoopsreport’s viewers.

Hello Hoopsreport readers,

My name is Trey Hoebee, Class of 2015, and I attend Sunrise Mountain High School in Peoria, Arizona. My club basketball team is the Arizona Future. I wear number 27 for my brother who died in a car accident. I play for God! I train hard on and off the court. I will be posting about my life, and how I train as a CHRISTIAN-Student-Athlete!

First, let me begin with an overview of my Junior High accomplishments last season. I had a 3.5 GPA. I set new school scoring records in both total points and 3 pointers. Our team had a 29-6 season, we were conference champions, and runners up in our district’s championship game. We also took 1st place in two holiday basketball tournaments. I was received 2 MVP tournament awards, and made a couple of All Tournament Teams. None of this could have been possible without God in my life and family support. I am now working on a successful high school experience in the classroom and on the court.

My parents give me support. My mom is always there on those days where I need that extra support when my shot is not falling like I want it to. My dad is always there for me. He cares, loves, and has faith in me. He is always getting up with me at 4:00 AM to go and workout at LA Fitness.

I am doing my work out on the basketball court when most kids my age are still

sleeping.  Some days I train twice a day. I believe this helps your body have a

smooth day for school. It also helps me think better. This may seem crazy, but I train to improve me not anyone else!  I do not worry about what other people think about me.  Never lose faith in yourself. God gives me my strength and courage to not let kids get into my head.

Talk to you soon,

Trey Hoebee
