We recently caught up with 6’7 Jordan Hamilton, currently ranked 7th nationally in the sophomore class, and he gave us an in-depth interview about his recruiting situation, the possibility of transferring high schools, and much more.
Hamilton jumped into the top-10 in our rankings of 2009 players, after an all-star performance last summer at the Nike All-America Camp. He has since validated that lofty ranking with an outstanding sophomore season at Dorsey and, more recently, a solid spring playing AAU ball.
Hamilton shoots the ball well from midrange and deep and he is a good vertical athlete. He is one of the best pure scorers in the nation- regardless of class.
It is no secret that Texas is in great shape to land this big time wing prospect, but Hamilton also has Syracuse, Florida, USC and Arizona on his list.
