Xavier Henry Could Be Wavering

Carl Henry set the internet message boards aflame again today after suggesting Xavier Henry, Hoopsreport.com's #3 player in the nation, may be wavering on his decision to attend Kansas. The report first surfaced after an interview with 690 Sports and Chris the Cowboy, where Mr. Henry mentioned a "change of heart".

I had a chance to catch up with Carl today for a second, to ask him about the interview and the statements. "I don't know about all that," he stated. "I haven't had a chance to talk to my kids, because I've been out of town."

When asked if the family is indeed having a meeting to discuss the possibility tonight he said, "We are." The meeting will happen tonight. He couldn't confirm if Coach Self and Coach Manning would be present at this meeting. He also couldn't comment on Jodie Meeks's decision to stay in the draft, and if it had any bearing on his younger son's decision to reconsider Kentucky.

So there you have it. Nothing is definite, but it appears there may be something behind the statements and all the speculation.
