TOP PROSPECT WATCH

By: Jeff Meadows
After having a very strong spring, 6'4 (WG) D'Angelo Russell has started of the summer with a bang by "rippin it up" at the prestigious NBAPA Top 100 Camp this weekend where he has left an indent in the minds of just about every scout in the country that made the trip Charlottesville, VA. D'Angelo, a Louisville, KY native, has put his total game on display by showing all scouts in attendance that he can get to the rack pretty much whenever he feels the need as well as stretch the defense with his outside shot. "D'Angelo is a real joy to watch" said NBAPA Top 100 Camp staff and HoopsReport correspondent Darnell "Tate" Johnson. D'Angelo is one of a few players that was invited to participate in this years camp that's an underclassmen and with that being said, he definitely has shown that NBAPA staff made a very good decision by inviting Mr. Russell.
WILL D'ANGELO MOVE UP HOOPSREPORT'S CLASS OF 2014 NPR'S?
D'Angelo is currently ranked the #26 prospect in HoopsReport's class of 2014 National Player Rankings and by the looks of things, D'Angelo will more than likely move up even higher but how high you might ask, well, I guess you'll just have to stay logged on to HoopsReport for our upcoming "National Player Rankings" in the following classes of 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
