PLAYER PROFILE: Class of 2016 "Nyrhique Smith"

By: Jeff Meadows
The East Coast is and has been known for it's TENACIOUS BASKETBALL BLOODLINE that has produced "pros on top of pros" and by the looks of it, not only has nothing changed, they are EVOLVING and class of 2016's, 6'2 HYBRID (CG) Nyrhique Smith is the PRIME EXAMPLE OF THAT. This past weekend at the "John Lucas International Middle School Combine" Nyrhique dispelled a pretty big myth that East Coast guards CAN DRIBBLE EXEPTIONALLY WELL BUT COULDN'T AND CAN'T SHOOT FROM THE OUTSIDE which Nyrhique pretty much put to rest by hitting an array of DEEP 3's and MID RANGE SHOTS on a consistent bases and when it came time to display his ball handling abilities, well, that was NUTHIN because he dribbled past defenders as he got to the basket at will and every time he got to the basket he seemed to finish with a lay up or nice dime. "We constantly stay in the lab" said Nyrhique's Father Lord Ice Smith "We don't waste any basketball, we make sure that when he does play that he plays in an event that's meaningful".
NYRHIQUE'S PLAYER DISCRIPTION
Nyrhique is a BIG, STRONG, PHYSICAL (G) who knows how to use his body and does not shy away from contact. On the offensive end, Nyrhique is a NIGHTMARE for just about all opposing (G's) because of his size, speed and quickness and you throw in the fact that he's a very accurate outside shooter, he becomes a NIGHTMARE FOR ALL OPPOSING (G's). Defensively, Nyrhique constantly comes up with steals due to his long arms and great anticipation. Nyrhique's size allows him to defend bigger players if need be but his SPEED, QUICKNESS and HIGH BBALL IQ allows him to COMPLETEY SWALLOW UP SMALLER (G's) as he constantly cut off opposing (G's) angles to the basket and disrupted their passing lanes.
HOOPSREPORT'S OVERVIEW/PREDICTION OF NYRHIQUE SMITH
My overview or PREDICTION of Nyrhique Smith is this, Nyrhique is a "BIG TIME PROSPECT". He is a HIGH MAJOR PROSPECT who I'm sure will remain that no matter which level he plays at and Jersey should be very proud of him and his performance at the "JLIMSC", he just may be another great (G) from the Tri-State area that will always be known for putting out GREAT (G's) and Hoopsreport is looking forward to ranking Nyrhique in our UP COMING 2016 NPR's.
