2011 Warren Central (KY) forward, George Fant, holds offers from WesternKentucky, Oklahoma State, Butler and Ohio, according to KYPreps.com. Fant is also hearing from Iowa, Alabama, West Virginia and South Carolina.

The Clemson Tigers have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks. 2011 wing, Jason Morris, will be in town this coming Saturday to watch the kickoff of Clemson’s football season, according to Scout.com. Casey Prather, a small forward in the class of 2010, will also be in town on Friday for an official visit. He also has official visits planned to Michigan and Florida, Scout reports. Prather narrowed his list down to seven schools recently, naming as finalists Clemson, Florida, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan, North Carolina and Vanderbilt.

Corey Chandler, a guard who was released from the Rutgers program, has found his landing spot at Binghamton University.

Keala King, a 6-5 wing/point forward prospect, tells NBEbasketball.com that ArizonaState is sticking out to him at the moment. He recently narrowed his list to Arizona State, Arizona, California, Harvard and Stanford. Oregon may be trying to get in the mix, as he plans an unofficial visit there, along with visits to Cal and Arizona. In the same report, Derrick Wilson claims offers from Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, FloridaInternational and Rutgers, to go along with interest from Ohio State, Stanford, North Carolina and Washington.

6-8 2010 forward, Tobias Harris, visited Maryland over the weekend, according to his twitter. His older brother, Torrel Jr, lives in Virginia, just a half hour drive from Maryland’s campus.

Georgia Southern has received a verbal commitment from 2010 6-3 shooting guard Trey Bussey, according to Zag’s Blog. Bussey can be added to a class that already consisted of Eric Ferguson, Marvin Baynham and Sam Mike.

Dave Telep of Scout.com reports that 2010 guard Trae Golden has a top three of Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee. Golden just finished an official visit to Georgia and plans officials to the other two schools in September. Also mentioned were SouthFlorida, Marquette and Pittsburgh.

2010 wing Roscoe Smith will be taking an unofficial visit to Duke on September 6th. Evan Daniels of Scout spoke to Smith’s father late Monday evening. The former Walbrook star will be playing for Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., this upcoming season. Other schools vying for Smith’s signature include Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Georgetown, Maryland and Kansas.

Jayvaughn Pinkston, a 2010 forward from Bishop Loughlin High School (NY), doesn’t plan on making a decision until the spring period, according to NBEbasketball.com. Pinkston has been on unofficial trips to Marquette, St. John’s, Tennessee and Villanova. He also plans fall treks to Arizona and Seton Hall as well.

Twitter is fast becoming our method of getting news these days. Today was no different, with Brewster Hoops (twitter account for Brewster Academy Basketball, located at twitter.com/brewsterhoops) announcing that 2010 big man, Maurice Walker, has narrowed his list of school choices to six. He will now be choosing from Connecticut, Georgetown, Kansas, Marquette, Texas A&M and Pittsburgh. Walker recently made a visit to Pitt.
