Missouri Adds A Small Tiger With A Lot of Bite In His Game

By: Dustin Rumbaugh

Head coach Mike Anderson has added a new Tiger to his squad who has a lot of things in common with the school's mascot. Missouri received a verbal commitment from Phil Pressey, a point guard who is just as quick and clever as a Tiger, with a game that has all the bite as well.

Although Pressey only checks in around 5-10, his ability to make pin point passes and create something out of nothing makes him one of the top point guards around. That skill set will allow him to absolutely flourish in Anderson's up and down, "40 Minutes of Hell" style of play.

The newest Tiger also had schools like Oklahoma, LSU, UConn, Baylor and Texas trying to trap him. In the end, though, Pressey chose to join the den-mate Ricky Kreklow in Tigers' 2010 class. Welcome to the Jungle Mr. Pressey!
