INTRO: Class of 2016 "DJ Russell"

To be considered among the top of your peers in anything you do, you MUST be or have the TOTAL PACKAGE and class of 2016 6'5 MULTI-SKILLED (W) DJ Russell from Jacksonville, FL is just that, THE TOTAL PACKAGE! "We work very hard every day" said DJ father D'Wayne Russell. "We've been on the grind sort of speak for about a full year now and the hard work has & is paying off". DJ has been subtly PUTTING IN WORK over the past year for one of the top AAU PROGRAMS OF ALL TIMES the Atlanta Celtics, a program that has produced a number pros most notable Orlando Magic's D'Wight Howard and Atlanta Hawks Josh Smith. "Playing with the Celtics is a dream come true" said DJ Russell "It's a great program and I'm looking forward to my future with the Celtics ".

OBSERVATION

I had the chance to watch DJ put his skills on display at the John Lucas International Middle School Combine "JLIMSC" and here's my description. DJ played extremely well in all weekend long in fact, DJ played well enough to make Hoopsreport's TOP 50 list at the camp. Offensively, DJ has the TOTAL PACKAGE meaning, DJ put everything on display, mid range, long ball and often slashing to the basket and finishing contested and uncontested lay ups. Defensively, DJ's athleticism and length constantly made things difficult for the opposition not to mention the fact that DJ is a very good rebounder on both ends.

OUTLOOK

My outlook on DJ Russell is this, DJ is definitely a TOP PROSPECT IN THE CLASS OF 2016 and given the fact that DJ is LONG, ATHLETIC, LEAN AND HAS A GREAT MOTOR, I would be shocked if DJ does not remain a TOP PROSPECT IN THE CLASS OF 2016.

WHERE WILL DJ LAND IN HOOPSREPORT'S 2016 NPR'S?
