High School Games on ESPN

Two high school games will be aired live on the ESPN network tonight when St. Benedict’s (NJ) takes on Benedictine (VA) at 7:00PM on ESPNU and St. Anthony (NJ) takes on American Christian (PA) at 9:00PM on ESPN.

St. Benedict’s vs. Benedictine

St. Benedict’s, the 3rd ranked high school team in American (USA Today) is led by McDonald’s All-American forward Samardo Samuels, who has signed with Louisville.  The supporting cast includes senior point guard Mike Machado, junior power forward Greg Echenique, junior guard Tamir Jackson and sophomore Tristan Thompson.

Benedictine is led by McDonald's All-American Ed Davis who is committed to North Carolina.

St. Anthony vs. American Christian

St. Anthony is the top ranked high school team in America (USA Today) and they are led by McDonald’s All-American guard Mike Rosario, who will play his college ball at Rutgers.  Other big names on St. Anthony include Marquette-bound guard Tyshawn Taylor and top-10 junior Dominic Cheek.

American Christian is considered one of the top prep schools in the nation and they are led by McDonald’s All-American Tyreke Evans, who is the highest rated unsigned senior in the country.  Other players of note for American Christian include senior guard Jeremiah Kelly (DePaul) and junior guard Lamont Jones (who was previously committed to Louisville).
