2010 Phenom Commits to Ohio State

Fort Wayne- The HOOPSCOOP Online is reporting that DeShaun Thomas, the top ranked rising sophomore in the country, has given an early verbal commitment to Ohio State.

Thomas is a 6’8 forward from Fort Wayne, IN that averaged 29 points and 13 rebounds a game as a freshman.  He led Bishop Luers to their first ever sectional championship last season.

The Buckeyes also have an early commitment from 6’7 Jared Sullinger, who will move to the #4 spot in the 2010 rankings when we publish them later this month (Sullinger is currently ranked 14th).
