Sullinger Dominates at Preview

Just when you start to think you have seen it all, Jared Sullinger, a 6'8 man-child from Columbus (Northland) and one of the top player's nationally in the 2010 class goes out and has the type of dominant performance that makes you say WOW!

Last Friday night at the All-Ohio Slam-N-Jam Hoop Preview at Harvest Prep school in Canal Winchester (OH), Sullinger wowed the capacity crowd with an awesome display of power, finesse, and skill. In the showcase finale, which featured a match-up between Columbus Northland and highly ranked Cincinnati Princeton, Sullinger took control of the contest early and didn't let up until his team had secured a 46-24 blowout victory. Sullinger, an Ohio St. commit, scored 16 points in a variety of ways, both inside the paint and on the perimeter. Sullinger's scoring output is significant considering the game consisted of only two 8 minute quarters.

Sullinger's performance is even more impressive because of the high level of competition. Rated by some as the top team in Ohio, Princeton's roster boast's three D-1 committments including Jordan Sibert (Ohio St.), Orlando Williams (Miami of Ohio), and Marquis Horne (Ohio).

In terms of the event format, each of the 17 teams competed in a total of nine games during the course of the evening. The first game tipped off at 4p.m. and the last game ended around 10p.m.
