St. Benedict’s takes the City of Palms Title

Ft. Myers, FL-Tournament MVP Samardo Samuels (left) scored 20 points to lead St. Benedict’s past Chester in the City of Palms championship game earlier tonight.

Louisville-signee Samardo Samuels scored 20 points while Greg Echenique took care of the glass (17 rebounds) as St. Benedict’s beat Chester, 68-55, to win the City of Palms Classic Championship.  Tristan Thompson, Tamir Jackson, and Mike Machado each scored 12 points for the winners.

St. Benedict’s is the nation’s top ranked high school team.
