Prime Time Shootout: Sunday Recap

Trenton, NJ- If his performance at the Prime Time Shootout was any indication, Doron Lamb (pictured) is going to be the next great player to come out of New York. Others to have big games included Jordan Theodore, Lamont Jones and Isaiah Thomas. Read more for game-by-game recaps from Sunday.
Bishop Loughlin, NY- 72
Trenton Catholic, NJ- 48
6’4 sophomore sensation Doron Lamb scored 28 points to lead Bishop Loughlin to a 72-48 win over Trenton Catholic. Lamb’s 6’5 teammate Jay Vaughn Pinkston, also a sophomore, scored 10 points of his own to go along with a handful of rebounds and blocked shots.
Trenton Catholic was led by 6’4 sophomore Markese Tucker’s 19 points.
Linden, NJ- 77
St. Raymond’s, NY- 68
6’1 St. Raymond’s senior Darryl Bryant hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer of regulation to send the game into overtime, but Linden pulled away in overtime to win, 77-68.
6’9 senior David Bruce scored 34 points and pulled down 15 rebounds for the winners.
Bryant, who will play his college ball at West Virginia, led St. Raymond’s with 22 points.
American Christian, PA- 68
South Kent School, CT- 62
This game was the second of the day to go into overtime when regulation ended in a 51-51 tie, but American Christian started the extra period on an 11-5 run and held on for the 62-58 win.
American Christian played without star senior Tyreke Evans (ankle injury). 6’0 junior Lamont Jones, a Louisville-commit, led the winners with 24 points.
5’9 Washington-signee Isaiah Thomas hit six 3-pointers and scored 31 points for South Kent.
Paterson Catholic, NJ- 57
Montrose Christian, MD- 34
6’0 Seton Hall-bound guard Jordan Theodore scored 24 points to lead Paterson Catholic to a 57-34 win over Montrose Christian. Theodore’s 5’9 teammate, Wayne Mack, chipped in with 17 points for the winners.
6’7 junior forward Terrell Vinson led Montrose with 12 points while 6’8 junior Isaiah Armwood was held to just six points.
Notre Dame, NJ - 42
St. Joseph’s, NJ- 37
6’3 senior Julian Diaz scored 23 points and 6’4 senior Ryan MacZinko chipped in with 14 to lead Notre Dame to a 42-37 win over St. Joseph’s.
St. Joseph’s was led by 6’3 junior Gerard Lewis and 6’1 Paul Konopacki, who combined for 21 points.
Christ the King, NY- 64
Trenton Central, NJ- 47
6’5 senior Ryan Pearson scored 23 points and Florida-bound Erving Walker, a 5’8 senior, chipped in with 13 as Christ the King beat Trenton central, 64-47.
Trenton Central was led by 6’4 junior Darren Elam’s 17 points.
