Prime Time Shootout: Live! Update

Trenton, NJ- We're coming to you Live from the Primetime Shootout in Trenton, NJ, where 5’10 freshman Jabarie Hinds just hit one of two free throws with three seconds left in the game to give Mt. Vernon a 74-73 win over Roman Catholic.

6’7 West Virginia recruit Kevin Jones led the winners with 27 points and 6’3 junior Sherrod Wright chipped in with 23.

Roman Catholic was paced by 6’0 junior Malik Wayns’ 26 points.

In a game this morning, Academy of New Church beat Timber Creek, 72-58. Academy of New Church was led by 6’7 senior Larry Loughery’s 23 points and 6’6 senior Sam Givens’ 18 points.

Hun School beat St. Augustine, 76-56, in the second game of the day. The winners were led led by 6’5 senior Sterling Meville’s 18 points while 6’7 Vanderbilt-bound Lance Goulbourne and 5’11 senior Doug Davis combined for 29 points.
