Derrick Rose had the best performance of the week in this game leading Mean Streets Express to a hard fought victory over Boo Williams. Rose finished with 24 points on 10-13 shooting, and 7 assists. Eric Gordon scored 17 points, and Tim Flowers added 12 points and 15 rebounds for Mean Streets. Boo Williams was led by Ed Davis’s 14 points. Pat Patterson (BW) finished with 13 points and 4 blocks and Chris Wright (BW) scored 12. The final score was Mean Streets Express 71, Boo Williams 68.

The first half of this game ended in a 26-26 tie. The Warriors used a balanced attack, while SYF’s Scott Martin and Greg Hill were the only players that kept this game close early. In the second half, SYF’s E’Twaun Moore heated up and led his team to victory. E’Twaun finished with 15 points including 13 in the second half and Scott Martin was the leading scorer with 19. Eric Gordon had another outstanding game, leading Mean Streets with 25 points, while Derrick Rose was solid at point guard with 13 points and 6 assists. SYF’s Scott Martin was outstanding all tournament, but got into foul trouble in this game and finished with only 5 points. Greg Hill (SYF) continued his consistent play, scoring 23 points. The final score was Mean Streets Express 72, SYF Players 52.
