Nike EYBL Session IV/Day 4 RECAP

OAKLAND, CA-Day 4, Nike EYBLS's final day of the final session is comparable to exam day for students, DRAMA FILLED. Well, here it is HoopsReport's RECAP of Day 4 of the fourth and final session of the Nike EYBL, enjoy.
ALBANY CITY ROCKS (NY) (69) ATHLETE FIRST (OK) (76)
2013 class 5'9 (PG) Stephen Clark got busy, scoring a GAME HIGH 23pts, dished out 7 assist and grabbed 2 boards teammates class of 2015 (CG) Allonzo Tier contributed 14pts and grabbed 3 boards and class of 2013, 6'7 (F) Shaquille Morris added 13pts and 7 boards, for ALBANY CITY ROCKS it was class of 2013, 6'3 (CG) Shadell Millinghaus who put on one of the best scoring exhibition this season in the EYBL by scoring a GAME HIGH 31pts 12 boards and 6 assist, teammate class of 2013, 6'10 (P) Manny Suarez scored 16pts grabbed 9 boards and dished out 2 assist in a losing effort.
CALIFORNIA SUPREME (CA) (64) ALABAMA CHALLENGE (AL) (52)
Coming into this game CAL SUPREME have been on a bit of a tare and not much changed as they would go on to roll over the ALABAMA CHALANGE by the score of 64-52. Marcus Lee led the way for CAL SUPREME scoring 17pts and snatching 6 boards while NEWLY AQUIRED TEAMMATE class of 2013, 6'5 (CG) Nigel Williams-Goss added 12pts 6 assist and 2 rebs while Jeremy Johnson led the way for ALABAMA CHALLENGE with 19pts and teammate, class of 2014, 6'5 (W) Devin Booker scored 13pts dished 3 assist and grabbed 2 boards.
SOUTHERN STAMPEDE (GA) (56) OAKLAND SOLDIERS (CA) (57)
The OAKLAND SOLDIERS, who have been playing EXTREMLY WELL in spite of injuries to the two TOP PROSPECTS in Aaron Gordan and Jabari Bird did just enough to pull out a nail bitter over the SOUTHERN STAMPEDE by the score of 57-56. TOP PROSPECT, class of 2014, 6'5 (GF) Stanley Johnson's 18pts and 7 boards led the way for the SOLDIERS while teammates class of 2013, 6'8 (F) Jalen Canty 13pts, 7 rebs and class of 2013, 6'4 (CG) Tyree Robinson scored 12pts, 5 rebs and 2 assist SOUTHERN STAMPEDE were led by class of 2014, 5'11 (PG) Nate Mason POURED IN A GAME HIGH 23 pts, 2 boards and 2 assist Tahj Shamsid-Deen scored 13pts, 5 rebs and 7 assist while class of 2013, 6'0 (PG) Brandon Goodwin 11pts 2 boards and 1 assist.
PARTING THOUGHTS
GREAT TEAMS, GRAET MATCH-UPS, GREAT PLAYERS AND GREAT ORGANIZATIONS EQUALS A GREAT LEAGUE. The Nike EYBL was OUTSTANDING and I like many others, enjoyed it to the very end as top teams faced off against each other every session as well as TOP PROSPECT MATCH-UPS. The Nike EYBL definitely lived up to all expectations and I'm really looking forward to the Nike EYBL Finals in mid July.
