Nike EYBL Session IV/Day 2 RECAP

OAKLAND,CA-Day two was pretty much an extension of Day 1 from the stand point that there were some very good match ups on the horizon but it didn't take away from the fact that some teams DESPERATELY NEEDED TO HAVE A BIG DAY by getting some KEY WINS. Let's check out Hoopsreport's Day 2 RECAP of the Nike EYBL Session IV.

ALL-OHIO RED led by Nigel Hayes 19pts Zack Denny. Billy Garrett Jr. 17pts Jabari Parker scored 10pts 9 rebs 3 assist Hoopsreport's #1 prospect in the class of 2014, 6'10 (P) Jahlil Okafor 10pts 3 rebs

KEY TO ALL-OHIO RED VICTORY/MAC IRVIN LOSS

The key(s) to this game was the fact that MAC IRVIN'S DUEL #1 PROSPECTS IN HOOPSREPORT'S CLASS OF 2013 & 2014 NATIONAL PLAYER RANKINGS 6'7 (WG) Jabari Parker & 6'10 (F) Jahlil Okafor combined for only 20pts when they usually around the 36 to 38pts a game combined and like I said in Day 1's RECAP MAC IRVIN FIRE CAN AND WILL GO AS FAR AS JABARI PARKER LEADS THEM!

THE FAMILY (MI) 53 TEAM TAKEOVER (DC) 56

With both teams in DESPERATE NEED OF A "W", it was TEAM TAKEOVER'S TOTAL TEAM EFFORT as their bench would score 18 points and TEAM TAKEOVER squeak out a 3 point, 56-53 victory. TEAM TAKEOVER'S class of 2013, 6'1 (PG) Jairus Lyles 13pts and 10 rebs and HoopsReport's #27 class of 2013, 6'8 (F) BeeJay Anya 10pts 8 rebs THE FAMILY it was HoopsReport's #10 rated prospect in the class of 2013, 6'7 (W) "BIG GAME" James Young leading the way with a WHOPPING 19pts and 16 rebs while teammate class of 2013, 6'4 (W) Elbert Matthews had comparable numbers to Young's, scoring 19pts and grabbing 7 rebs.

CIA BOUNCE (CND) 72 SOUTHERN STAMPEDE (MI) 58

After suffering a loss in which I came down hard on 4 of CIA BOUNCE'S starting five who combined for a total of 10 points yesterday, today was a COMPLETE TURN AROUND as they combined for 38 points giving CIA BOUNCE the cushion it needed to go on and MAN HANDLE SOUTHERN STAMPEDE 72-58. CIA BOUNCE were led by Hoopsreport's #42 rated prospect in the 2013 class 6'3 (CG) Tyler Ennis scored 16pts 5 rebs and 8 assist while teammate class of 2013, 6'4 (W) Xavier Rathan-Mayes scored 15pts 2 rebs and 1assist.

CIA BOUNCE/SOUTHERN STAMPEDE GAME NOTE

CIA BOUNCE won handily without the services of the TOP PROSPECT, HOOPSREPORT'S #2 rated player in the class of 2014, 6'8 (WG) Andrew Wiggins who only played 9 minutes, only attempted 2 field goals and did not score all due to a nagging injury.
