Nike EYBL Session IV PRECAP

OAKLAND, CA-The final leg of the Nike EYBL held in Oakland, CA at the "Dream Courts" facility will be filled with some great basketball and outstanding match ups as it will be the deciding factor in who goes on to participate in the this year's Nike Peach Jam AKA: the Nike EYBL Finals.

WHO WILL MOVE ON TO THE NIKE EYBL FINALS?

Who will move on to the Nike EYBL Finals? Is the main question asked this weekend across the country especially in Oakland, CA where the final leg of the Nike EYBL is taking place and we have decided to throw out OUR PREDICTIONS as to who WE think will qualify for this year's Nike EYBL Finals.

NIKE EYBL FINALS QUALIFICATIONS

The QUALIFICATIONS of making the Nike EYBL Finals are that a team MUST finish in the top five (5) of ten (10) teams in each of the four (4) DIVISIONS in order to receive an AUTOMATIC BID and ONLY one (1) team in each of the four (4) DIVISIONS will receive an AT LARGE BID which means that only 24 out of 40 teams will move on to participate in the Nike EYBL Finals formally known as the Nike "Peach Jam" in Augusta, South Carolina. Here are the qualifications for the AT LARGE BIDS. (1) Overall Record, (2) Head to Head Record, (3) Strength of Schedule, (4) Quality Wins vs Bad Losses, (5) Point Differential.

TEAMS FROM DIVISION A THAT WILL RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC BID

TEAM UNITED (NC) (12-5), ARKANSAS WINGS (AR) (11-6), BABC (MA) (10-7), TEAM FINAL (PA) (10-7), TEXAS PRO (TX) (7-10)

AT LARGE BID RECIPIENT FROM DIVISION A

The GEORGIA STARS (GA) (6-10) will make a late surge and will receive an AT LARGE BID into the EYBL Finals

TEAM(S) ON THE OUTS IN DIVISION A

The WISCONSIN PLAYGROUND WARRIORS (WI) (9-8) is our pick from DIVISION A as the team that will slide all the way from an AUTOMATIC BID to COMPLETELY OUT OF THE RUNNINGS of the EYBL Finals. Other TEAMS THAT ARE ON THE OUTS IN DIVISION A STL EAGLES (MO) (5-12), LOUISIANA SELECT (LA) (4-13), METRO HAWKS (NY) (1-16).

TEAMS FROM DIVISION B THAT WILL RECEIVE AUTOMATIC BIDS

TEAM TAKEOVER (DC) (11-6), INDY SPIECE (IN) (10-7), THE FAMILY (MI) (10-7), NJ PLAYAZ (NJ) (9-8), BLUFF CITY LEGENDS (AR) (9-8).

AT LARGE BID RECIPIENT IN DIVISION B

Coming in this weekend at (9-8) MOKAN ELITE (KS) should put in just enough work to pull out an AT LARGE BID into this year's EYBL Finals.

TEAM(S) ON THE OUTS IN DIVISION B

ATHLETES FIRST (OK) (8-9), ALBANY CITY ROCKS (NY) (6-11), JACKSON TIGERS (MS) (4-13), KING JAMES (OH) (4-13).

TEAMS FROM DIVISION C THAT WILL RECEIVE AUTOMATIC BIDS

ALL OHIO RED (OH) (14-3), CALIFORNIA SUPREME (CA) (13-4), MAC IRVIN (IL) (13-4), TEAM TEXAS TITANS (TX) (13-4), E1T1 (FL) (12-5)

AT LARGE BID RECPIENT IN DIVISION C

While its possible that ICP ELITE (OR) (9-8) can catch CP3 (NC) (11-6) but I doubt it, as I give CP3 (NC) (11-6) the nod to earn the AT LARGE BID from DIVISION C.

TEAM(S) ON THE OUTS IN DIVISION C

ICP ELITE (OR) (8-9), NY LIGHTNING (NY) (4-13), ALABAMA CHALLENGE (AL)(3-14), NIKE TEAM FLORIDA (FL) (3-14)

TEAMS THAT WILL RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC BID OUT OF DIVISION D BOUNCE (CAN) (15-2), HOUSTON HOOPS (TX) (14-3), MEAN STREETS (IL) (13-4), BALTIMORE ELITE (MD) (11-6), OAKLAND SOLDIERS (CA) (11-6).

AT LARGE BID RECIPIENT IN DIVISION D

Coming into this weekends final session at (10-7), BOO WILLIAMS (VA) should be able to do just enough to earn an AT LARGE BID into the EYBL Finals.

TEAM(S) ON THE OUTS IN DIVISION D

HOWARD PULLEY (MN) has a SLIGHT, I mean a VERY SLIGHT chance at catcthing "BOO WILLIAMS" (VA) (10-7) but I don't think that it will happen. SOUTHERN STAMPEDE (GA)(8-9), TENNESSEE TRAVELERS (TN) (1-16), ALL IOWA ATTACK (IA) (0-17).
