Mean Streets Express suffered their first loss of the tournament at the hands of The Family. The Family was led by Corperryale Harris, who posted 17 points and 8 rebounds. Jordan Crawford (younger brother of Kentucky’s Joe Crawford) had another good game, scoring 15 points. Down by three with five seconds left in the game, Mean Streets had a chance to send it to overtime, but no miracle was in store for them today as Eric Gordon’s three pointer from the corner rimmed out. Tim Flowers led Mean Streets with 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Eric Gordon scored 20, and Derrick Rose chipped in with 5 points and 11 assists. The final score was 56-53.
