Las Vegas, NV- The semifinal matchup between Friends of Hoop and Team Texas just ended. Isaiah Thomas scored 27 points for FOH, but would it be enough to overcome a second half rally from Team Texas?

Team Texas has been one of the top Nike-affiliated AAU teams of the summer. Although they have made it to the Elite 8 of nearly every tournament they’ve played in, the championship rounds have eluded them… until now.

Willie Warren took over in the second half and led Team Texas to an 86-80 come-from-behind win to advance to the championship of the Main Event. He led the winners with 26 points, while his running-mate, Rotnei Clarke, chipped in with 23.

Team Texas will play the New York Gauchos for the Main Event Championship.
