Fab Frosh All-American Camp Preview

This coming weekend a number of elite freshmen will be descending on Lexington, Kentucky for Clay Dade’s 3rd Annual Fab Frosh All-American Camp. This year the invitation only event will be held on the campus of the University of Kentucky and will again play host to some of the top 150 players in the country in the class of 2013.

 

Not only will these elite players have an opportunity to compete against the best 2013 talent in the nation, they will do so in UK’s state-of-of-the-art Joe Craft Center and will be closely watched by college coaches and scouting services. The four-day event will feature league games, personal development seminars, academic enrichment, SAT introduction, strategies and practice tests, dynamic guest speakers, skills competition and all-star games.

 

In the event’s three year history, many of the players who have participated in the camp have gone on to receive invitations to prestigious camps and other events as well as college scholarship offers. Some of the past participants include: Michael Gilchrist, Quinn Cook, Tony Parker, Johnny O’Bryant, L.J. Rose, Justin Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Michael Avery, Jaylen Beckham, D’Vontes Smith-Revera, Perry Ellis, and Stevie Taylor.

 

A few of the elite players expected to participate in this year’s event include:

Jordan Swopshire, 6’4, O’Fallon, MO

Ishmael Wainwright, 6’4, Kansas City, MO

Jonathon Williams, 6’8, Memphis, TN

Nigel Williams-Gross, 6’2, Henderson, NV

Marc Loving, 6’6, Toledo, OH

Nigel Hayes, 6’6, Toledo, OH
