Dawkins Confirms Eligibility for 2009

Andre Dawkins is playing for a loaded Boo Williams club that has yet to really be tested in Orlando. I caught up with him after his team's big win over Kyrie Irving's NJ Roadrunners.

When asked if he would be eligible for 2009, Dawkins replied, "Oh yeah. All I have to do is finish this course over the summer." Dawkins added that the course was going good and there will be no problem in completion of the requirement. The talented guard is excited to join the Blue Devils in the fall.

So, there you go Duke fans, Dawkins will be available next year to add backcourt depth in the absence of Gerald Henderson. I look for Dawkins to step in and contribute right away.
