Bob Gibbons TOC: Live Update!

Class of 2009 forward Keith Clanton (6’7)  hit a game-winning layup (off of an assist from 5’9 senior Ray Taylor) to give Team Breakdown the 77-76 win over the New Jersey Playaz in a semifinal game earlier today at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. 

The game’s leading scorer was 6’1 senior Kenny Boynton, who scored 33 points for the winners.  The New Jersey Playaz were led by 6’6 senior Dominic Cheek, who finished with 27 points.

In the other semifinal game, the Atlanta Celtics beat Indiana Elite, 67-62.

Team Breakdown and the Atlanta Celtics will play for the championship this afternoon at 4:00.

In other notes, 6’7 senior Christian Watford of the M33M Ballers is the tournament' leading scorer with 26 points per game.
