2010 Pangos Dream Classic

2010 Pangos Dream Classic @ Cabrillo High School (Long Beach CA)

 

 The 2010 Pangos Dream Classic will be held on Saturday January 9, 2010 at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach CA. This 16th annual high school basketball event will showcase ten of California's top boy’s high school teams it will also feature some of the top prospects on the west coast/country. This event has been one of the top Holiday basketball tournaments in the country the past 10 years and this year won’t be any different with teams like: Compton Dominguez H.S., Belflower St. John Bosco, Los Angeles Price H.S. and Cerritos Gahr H.S. etc makes this a must see event.

The 2010 Pangos Dream Classic schedule is as follows:

 

2:00pm  Centennial (Compton) vs. Etiwanda (Etiwanda)

 

3:30pm   St. John Bosco (Bellflower) vs. Dominguez (Compton)

 

5:00pm   Cabrillo (Long Beach)  vs. Paramount (Paramount)

 

6:30pm   Price (Los Angeles) vs. Gahr (Cerritos)

 

8:00pm  La Verne Lutheran (La Verne) vs. Ocean View (Huntington Beach)

Past Dream Classic's has showcased many future NBA stars. The 2003 Pangos Dream Classic featured the #1 pick of the 2003 NBA Draft LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers) and attracted 12,500-plus fans, media and scouts to UCLA's Pauley Pavilion as well as a national ESPN2 audience. The 2004 Dream Classic was headlined by three of the top 13 picks of the 2004 NBA Draft: #1 pick Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic), #12 selection Robert Swift (Seattle Supersonics) and the #13 choice Sebastian Telfair (Minnesota Timberwolves).
