E’Twaun Moore Hoops Report’s National Player of the Week

By: Jeff Meadows

Playing in a loaded conference has its draw backs and its perks and if you wish to be a top team in a top conference, you must have “A” list players and Purdue’s 6’4 SR (G) is exactly that, an “A” list performer, so much in fact, that Hoops Report deemed E’Twaun Moore as the National College Player of the Week. To start the week off, E’Twaun played a big role (scoring 19 points 3 rebounds) in Purdue knocking off a red hot Wisconsin team 70-62, a team who a week before, had beaten the #1 team in the country Ohio St. The very next game against the #3 team in the country (Ohio St. Buckeyes) E’Twaun scored a whopping 38 points and grabbed 4 rebounds to lift his Purdue Boilermakers in a convincing 13 point, 76-63 victory. E’Twaun’s freshman season he averaged 12.9 points 3.9 rebounds & 2.6 assist per game, his sophomore season E’Twaun averaged 13.8 points 4.6 rebounds & 3 assist per game, E’Twaun’s junior season he averaged 16.4 points 3.8 rebounds & 2.7 assist per game this season E’Twaun is currently averaging 18.6 points 5.4 rebounds 3.1 assist per game. E’Twaun Moore is a pro size (G) who likes to score in a variety of ways from aggressively getting to the basket to successfully hitting the mid range and deep ball. E’Twaun (a East Chicago native) is definitely an NBA prospect and his Purdue Boilermakers are definitely headed to NCAA tournament and they are expected to do big things, how big, I guess we’ll have to find out in just a couple of weeks when the most wonderful time of the year arrives, March Madness.
