FULL COURT PRESS LEAD GUARD CAMP

By: Jeff Meadows
Glendale, AZ- Dinos Trigonis held his 3rd Annual Lead Guard at Copper Canyon HS in Glendale, AZ had a really good turn- out of over 80 boys from 2012-2018. “Our objective for the Lead Guard Camp is to make sure that we cover fundamentals for the simple fact that so much emphasis is put on playing that we sometimes over shadows the importance fundamentals” said camp Director Dinos Trigonis. Throughout the camp, the participating players went through a series of very good and advanced drills run by Dinos Trigonis and drill stations run by Simon Phipps (JV Coach at Agua Fria HS), Matt Goren (Southern California evaluator) and myself, Jeff Meadows (HoopsReport.com) which appeared to have had a very positive impact on the campers performances throughout. Once scrimmages got under way, there were some very good match ups and very competitive play as players that are already established looked to remain in good standing while others looked to make a name for themselves in front such scouts as Dinos Trigonis (Pangos All-American Camp and a host of other events), Chad Groth (Elite 8 in the Desert, Areacodesbasketball & a host of other events), Max Ivany (D1 Texas Ambassadors & ESPN U), and Jeff Meadows (HoopsReport.com).
