Arizona preseason junior all-state teams

Arizona preseason junior all-state teams (top 20)

Combine great guard play, athletic wings and a solid post player and you have the preseason sophomore first team all-state. Starting with Robert Selmen the 6'5 (G/F) out of Central H.S. in Phoenix. Selmen is a big bodied guard who likes physical play not to mention that he has superior offensive skills. Selmen led Central H.S. to the state championship last year with some MVP like performances along the way. Selmen is a mid to high major prospect that will again, have another good high school season. Next up is the 6’7 ultra bouncy, aggressive rebounding, very good finishing Sia Tummala out of Brophy Prep in Phoenix. Tummala has the knack for getting lots of offensive rebounds and put backs. Next up is the 6'3 ballhandling wizard Matre DeMarco out Shadow Mt. in Phoenix. Matre can score with the best of them and he's also a great floor general along with being a high character guy makes DeMarco a very high comodity for college coaches across the country. DeMarco is a high major prospect that will sign a major D1 scholorship before it's all said and done. Next up is one of the state’s top PG regardless of class Lester Medford out of Tucson’s Amphitheater. Medford is electrifying; he has a motor that doesn’t stop. Medford’s coming out party was in the Arizona preseason Jr all-state game where he battled with preseason player of the year regardless of class Jahii Carson. Medford scored 25 pts 12 assist and 6 rebs while battling Carson. Look for Medford to have a very productive high school season.  My choice as the preseason player of the year regardless of class and junior player of the year Jahii Carson "picture above" out of Mesa H.S. in Mesa, AZ. Carson pretty much solidified his spot when he battled with Lester Medford at the Arizona preseason all-state games where Carson scored 34 pts 14 assist and 8 rebs. Carson is one of the top PG’s in the country in the class of 2011. Here the Arizona preseason all-state teams enjoy!
