Most top prospects that start off the spring/summer hot tend to hit a platue and coast the rest of the season, not Allerik Freeman. You see, Allerik is one of the top (CG) in the country and has been for the past couple of years. Allerik plays aau for one of the most prominent aau organizations in the country, Nike sponsored "Boo Williams" (based out of Hampton, VA) who's known for producing many high level D1 prospects as well as NBA players and just recently Allerik transfered from one of the top high schools in the country Olympic HS in Charlotte, NC to another nationally renown high school in Findlay Prep out of Henderson, NV

Earlier, I spoke with our North Carolina correspondent Chris Meadows and here's his take on Allerick Freeman.

Allerik is a very talented and physically imposing player. Allerik has had a profound impact in each and every game that I've seen him play. Although he has been played at the point but without question his natural position is (CG) that's where he tends to flourish. Allerik is one of those players that seem to do all of the right things at the right time whether it's getting a steal, rebound, blocked shot, stop on D or score a key basket. With Allerik being ranked #10 in HoopsReport's class of 2013 "National Player Rankings" some may expect for him to score a ton of points, that's not his game. Allerik is a 22-8-6 or 20-10-8 guy, he's not a scoring junkie which isn't a bad thing. Allerik is a high major D1 prospect that will definitely be an instant impact player at the next level.

What's next for Allerik? Well, if your in Las Vegas, NV in early July you can catch him at the highly anticipated Nike "LeBron James" position camp and or you can catch Allerik at the Nike EYBL Finals in Augusta, SC in mid July where he will be playing for "Boo Williams". If possible, I suggest that you take a look for yourself if not, you know I will have you covered here at where we will be bringing EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE of both events.
